Verwood Concert Brass is a Dorset band near Ringwood with easy access from Bournemouth, Southampton & Portsmouth.

The A Band are currently in the 1st  Section in the West of England  Region. The band performs concerts regularly in the Verwood Hub Theatre, we play at many other events over the course of the year and can be contacted through this website if you are interested in hiring us.  We are very lucky in owning our Band Hall which has good facilities and parking and is also available to be hired.

Rehearsals are at the Band Hall on Monday and Thursday evenings from 8pm to 10pm and anyone wishing to listen or meet us is more than welcome to come and introduce themselves.

B Band

Verwood have a B band which has been recently formed.  This is conducted by Trevor Naughton, rehearsals are from 7.30-9.30pm on Wednesday evenings at the band hall.  The B Band enter the 4th Section for the first time in March and join the A Band for a trip to Torquay.

Training Band

The band has had a training band since the early 1960’s. All ages from 7 to 107 are welcome starting in the "Little Acorns" with Pam Reeks before progressing to the training band under the direction of Ian Harris. The training band performs at a wide range of jobs and engagements.  Rehearsals are in the band hall on Monday evening 6.45pm-7.45pm.
