Verwood Concert Brass is a Dorset band based near Ringwood with easy access from Bournemouth, Southampton & Portsmouth.
Currently enjoying a successful few years, achieving 2nd place at the 2009 West of England 2nd Section Contest meaning another exciting trip to Harrogate in September. We are also lead to believe from various statisticians that this will result in promotion again to the first section for 2010.
The band performs concerts regularly in the Verwood Hub which are usually sold out in the first week of tickets being available.
We play at many other events over the course of the year and can be contacted through this website if you are interested in hiring us. We are very lucky in owning our Band Hall which has good facilities and parking and is also available to be hired.

Training Band
The band has had a training band since the early 1960’s. All ages from 7 to 107 are welcome starting in the "little Acorns" with Pam Reeks before progressing to the training band under the direction of Ian Harris. The training band performs at a wide range of jobs and engagements and is intending to compete in the Wessex Winter Contest 2008 . Their rehearsals are in the band hall on Monday evenings between 6.45pm-7.45pm.
